About this house rental
Enjoy the peaceful setting at this modern, charming cottage. Constructed brand new in 2025, the home features a bright and airy fell with beautiful modern farmhouse decor. Amazing sunsets, comfortable furniture, and a quiet country setting combine to make this a unique and inviting home away from home. Its proximity to Mt Pleasant and Clare also make it a convenient location to stay.
The main floor features an open floor plan with a cathedral ceiling. The fully stocked kitchen has a toaster, coffee maker with coffee, blender, flatware, cooking utensils for your convenience. A dishwasher makes clean up easy. There is a dining table adjoining the kitchen. The living room has a sofa, loveseat, and recliner. There are two bedrooms on the main floor, each with a queen bed and closet. A full bathroom completes the downstairs.
Enjoy climbing the classy spiral staircase and find yourself in a large, open loft where are there are tow single beds and a closet as well as cozy sitting area for tow and a desk for a work area.
Step outside on the back deck with your morning coffee to watch the sunrise and get your day off to an invigorating start. The full length front porch from which you can watch amazing sunsets is another favorite part of the property. There is ample space in the back yard for children to play and to enjoy a meal around the campfire!
The neighborhood is calm and quiet. It's the perfect retreat away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. It's also a convenient landing place between events.
The entire house is available for use, except the mechanical closet in the bathroom.

Overall, we really loved our stay! We rolled up and could instantly tell that the house is brand new. It's a super cute place and well set up. The country sky views of the sunrise and sunset are excellent. We attended a wedding in Rosebush and were just 9 minutes away from the event so it was perfect. The only reason I'm giving it 4 starts instead of 5 is because the hot water was extremely sulfur-smelling. It wasn't a huge problem for us and our short stay, but would have been more of an issue if we stayed longer. I let the host know afterward and they're looking into it! Calvin was so responsive and helpful the entire time. We'd stay again!
