Even had a cupboard of everything in case you had forgotten anything.
Superbl thought out.
Breakfast exceptional wonderful hosts went above and beyond, even advised on the local area and if you were travelling on what to see.
Can’t say enough will return again.
Absolutely nothing to dislike perfect place to stay.

The remote location was fantastic. Really enjoyed that and the host was very very chatty and very helpful with the knowledge of the area.

There are very few places to stay in this remote part of Scotland, which is only accessible by some narrow and occasionally scary roads. This one was particularly tucked away, a short drive from the main town (if it can be considered large enough to be a town). It was a delightful place, quiet and mostly peaceful, and the breakfasts were particularly good. Our host was very friendly and, hearing we were planning on some walks, recommended an ideal one for us in the immediate area.
The hosts are only there for certain times, and this was fine for the most part, but there was a point when the fire alarm went off (no idea why!) and none of the guests were entirely sure what to do or whether we even could turn it off.
There's also an honesty shop that sells various snacks and drinks, which we discovered while we were out included cans of diet coke that were best before four years ago - clearly the stock doesn't get rotated.

We were doing the NC 500 route and this was a lovely two-day stop. Marion is lovely and very helpful. The setting is outstanding and the Applecross region has some wonderful scenery. The breakfasts were great. Thank you
