This was a great vrbo! My husband and his employee stayed while on a business trip and it worked well for them. The location was great, right downtown Phoenix. They said the A/C worked really well. The unit was very clean. There were only a few downsides to the unit. They said upon entry, the smell wasn't great, although as stated above, the unit was clean. The pullout couch was pretty cheap with lumps in it, making it probably great for kids to sleep on if you're traveling as a family, but maybe not an adult. And they mentioned the fridge wasn't working very well and wouldn't keep food cold. They would take it out the next morning and it would be room temperature, even after turning the temp up in the fridge. DISCLAIMER: They did not mention the fridge until they came home. I'm sure if I had mentioned this to the host, he would have had it fixed! The host was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. Overall a great vrbo and I bet even better for a couple or small family! Conveniently located, clean, affordable, and an attentive host!

It is close enough to down town phoenix to walk, I would not plan to walk alone as it is down town phoenix.

Yes, the location was close enough to downtown for a quick ride. However, compared to the photos the back yard area is a non maintained version. The cleanliness level of the unit was really not okay. We chose to keep our shoes on the entire time while inside. The rugs look as though they have never been cleaned. The floors have probably only ever been swept. The couch, which also was supposed to act as a second bed, looked as though it was going to fall apart , so my friend and I just slept in the same bed. There were no napkins, paper towels or facial tissue available in the unit. The street noise into the unit was actually pretty substantial. There are a lot of people on the street yelling and or talking loudly, along with car noise. I dont know that the cost that was charged equalled the quality of the unit.
