We loved the beautiful cottage, stunning views, cosy atmosphere and the thoughtful little touches throughout. The location in Painswick was perfect for exploring the Cotswolds, and everything was spotlessly clean, comfortable and beautifully presented.

Lovely location
Beautiful cottage
Cosy and homely with super kitchen and bedrooms
The courtyard was tiny and stoney
Not good for dogs!
The gate was fiddly to shut every time we went out
Only car park was a 5 min walk so not good for unloading/ loading car

The house is very cosy and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils. The house was very clean on arrival and the provision of dog blankets, bowls and treat biscuits were very welcomed. The location is great, we enjoyed the local bakery and coffee shop every day during our stay, and visited the local eateries during our stay. There is a nice view of the church from the bedroom windows.
The stairs are very narrow and steep, but this isn't a criticism, as it's expected for an old stone cottage. The mattresses on the beds were too soft for our preferences.
