A pleasant en-suite room, clean and with a comfortable bed. Very helpful host. The location is excellent if you wish to be in Florence but outside of the tourist centre, and there are many local shops and restaurants on your doorstep, without the tourist crowds and prices. It is a short trip, by Tram T1 or bus, back into Florence.
Breakfast is the Italian style coffee and a cake, provided at a lovely local bakery. There is a coffee machine and small fridge in the room.
As the room is on the street side of the ground floor, I did want to leave my window and shutters open because of traffic noise, but there was very little noise overnight.

"The room facilities are excellent, and public transportation is very convenient; it's an 11-minute walk to the city center by tram."
