Well kept and comfortable room and central dining area. The property grounds are also pretty. The operators were very friendly and helpful. They really made the B&B feel like home. Shower and bathroom was large enough for two at once. We had a small balcony overlooking the front garden. Breakfast was basic but good. The Bus to the old town was right across the street.
Being our first time in Florence we didn't know the lay of the land, so to speak. While there is a bus stop across the street from Villa Gelsomino that takes one very close to the City Center, walking to the City Center, while not arduous, was a hike. Eveything about Villa Gelsomino was wonderful. But next time we will stay in the City Center where we spend most of our time. If you want a great place for good value, Villa Gelsomino fits the bill.

Friendly owners, close to bus stops, clean.

Location was convenient, away from the crowded city centre but close enough to get there. Breakfast was ok.
There is no cleaning in the room. We left the first morning and when we got back our room was as we left it.
