Perfect location in the middle of lovely Kington. Within walking distance of everything but very quiet. It was comfortable.
Interesting to see the livestock market from the back window.
The house was a bit shambolic and clearly there is ongoing work to be done. The hob was ancient and very very slow which made cooking difficult.
It was a shame not to be able to use the garden to sit in because the weather was good.
My husband found the stairs a problem which could be sorted with a better handrail on both sides.

This was an ideal location for me as I was going to Kington show the following morning. It had everything that I needed and I was able to park quite easily. Bed was really comfy and once the pub had closed it was very quiet. Kitchen had all the usual facilities. A real home from home
I didn't realise that the bathroom was on the ground floor and for someone of advanced years who has to get up in the night it was a bit of an adventure as the stairs are quite steep and the handrail not easy to get hold of. Also as I was leaving early the next morning I wanted to have a shower & wanted to put the towels on the radiator, I tried the thermostat but it just said "not paired" so I messaged the owner through booking.com but never got a reply, so In the morning I just washed my hair as it was too cold in the bathroom to shower

It is cosy indeed, but it had everything we needed for a night. Free parking in front of the building.
You are expected to take off your bed sheets and so on at checkout, which I do not found welcoming. We are guests, not staff members.
