It is a very nice hotel, maybe the nicest I have stayed in. Great location on King St. and nice amenities like a kitchen, full size fridge, sofa, amazing bed, and washer and dryer.
I was on the fourth floor and there is a lounge on the fifth floor above my room and the rooms near me. There was some noise that was never loud but it was a little noticeable. The lounge closes around 10pm and all was quiet by 11:00pm.

Great hotel stay! The staff, from the front desk to the valet, were welcoming, friendly, and professional. Our room was beautifully decorated, spotless, and surprisingly well-appointed, with a mini kitchenette and a washer and dryer discreetly tucked away.
I highly recommend booking a room with a balcony overlooking the courtyard. It adds to the charm of the hotel and extends your living space outdoors, making the room feel even more inviting and spacious.
I would absolutely recommend The Nickel Hotel and have already done so. I'll definitely stay here again the next time I visit Charleston.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Staff was amazing and valet was wonderful as well.
Beware that there is a $50 a night parking fee that wasn’t disclosed until after booking.
