The host Udaya is absolutely amazing - he is so sweet and he helped with absolutely every question I had. It was my third time in Kandy and I would definitely come back here again and stay at Eden!
The female dorm is very spacious, the beds super comfortable and everything is very clean. Also the breakfast which was included in my booking was amazing - I went for the Sri Lankan breakfast because I am vegan and it was all very delicious. The garden is beautiful, there are loads of spaces to hang out (inside and outside) and walking down the hill takes only about 15min. Shower was great as well with lots of water pressure. So yeah I am really recommending this place!!
That I had to leave :)

The owner gives a whole list of great restaurants, places to visit and things to do in general during check in. He will also help you with whatever you need with great pleasure.
The dorms and especially the bathroom is very nice. All together I really enjoyed my few days in Kandy, and most of it was because of this hostel and the people I met there.

I had a lovely overnight stay at Eden Hostel in Kandy. The owner was warm, welcoming, and very helpful. I especially enjoyed the breakfast and the peaceful natural surroundings.
The hostel was clean and well maintained. The owner’s care and attention to cleanliness and safety made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout my stay.
I also appreciated his recommendation for a local performance at a very affordable price. He helped everything go smoothly, including arranging a tuk-tuk to the right bus station for my onward journey to Dambulla.
Thank you for the wonderful hospitality and thoughtful assistance. I would happily recommend Eden Hostel to anyone looking for a clean, peaceful, and welcoming place to stay in Kandy!
