Location was great, managers were very helpful and spoke English well. Air conditioning and wifi worked, hot water in shower was available after management showed how to use the water heater. Quiet location. Bed had a mosquito net.
Stairwell entrance (lobby is in building basement) had constant construction possibly due to festival, so not the hotel’s fault, but still difficult at times. Room had a slight smell, but not overpowering.

Came to Kandy to see the Esla Perahala for one night, perfect location as the parade turned the corner 50m from the hotel enabling us to find a spot alot later in the day.
Staff were very very helpful even organising for our laundry to be done despite it essentially being a public holiday. They also said if we needed help anywhere in the city to just call, it's so nice to feel cared for in a new country. Upon departure, the owner actually walked us several streets over to a cheaper tuk tuk pick up due the parade set up - very much appreciated!! Loved this style of bed mosquito net! Was on the top floor (5 total) and appreciated the opportunity to get our steps up! (No lift, glad we have backpacks vs suitcases - but the staff were very keen to help carry things)

El dueño del hostal fue súper súper amable con nosotras. Nos consiguió un pequeño descuento en un espectáculo de baile tradicionales.
Muy atento por si necesitas cualquier cosa.
Nos dio muchas botellas de agua.
Habia pequeños bichitos de la humedad en el baño, pero repetiría otra vez mi estancia sin dudarlo.
