The staff were absolutely incredible!! They picked us up from the train station, planned our entire itinerary for us and booked all the tickets that we would need! They were very kind, thoughtful, and friendly! The breakfast is great and has a western and Chinese option (you MUST try the traditional walnut peach cookies they serve at breakfast - a new favourite)! I’ve travelled to almost 50 countries and they are the best hosts I’ve ever had!

A wonderful stay at Zhangjiajie Waterfront Huajian Inn. Everything was within walking distance of dinner spots, and it made for a beautiful base for exploring the ancient Dayong town. (My friend and I are avid, active walkers). We were able to walk to the cable car for Tianmen Mountain — so convenient and also a visit to wander around Huilongguan Park, many stairs, interesting place, immersed in nature.
The staff were wonderful, helpful and kind. My fifth-floor room was stunning — a lovely little tea table to sit and enjoy tea, an immense balcony, a beautiful bathroom, and gorgeous views over the river. Breakfast was simple but satisfying. I'd highly recommend the restaurant right next door too — as a vegetarian, I could load up on vegetables, tasty tofu's, and rice, prices were great.
Honestly nothing to complain about. A perfect base for visiting the mountain and climbing the Heavenly Stairs. Loved it here!

Staff was super great. Both were very friendly and kind with itineraries for our trip.
Rooms were big and spacious and very well decorated.
Unfortunately the kindness of the staff does not heat the room. Our room was in the 5th floor and it was very cold during the 3 nights. This has been reported to the staff and instead of getting a heater or a blanket we got heat patches for muscle recovery (still dont understand what we should have done with it). Besides the cold in the room the toilet of our bathroom got cloghed due to the old piping of the building, and we couldnt use it for a night and morning. Also this has been reported in the evening and we were said that only on the next day it could be fixed - so we had to spend 14 hours with the toilet in that state.
