The Secret Garden Rooms are beautifully finished, with exposed wooden beams, and lots of beautiful period features. There was a wide selection of coffee, tea and biscuits; soft towels and dressing gowns, and lots of books to read. The booking gave us use of their lovely garden room, a sort of conservatory in the middle of a lush garden, absolutely full of crime thrillers and with very comfortable sofas. We spent a lovely rainy morning in there, and it was divine.
I don't think it was made totally clear when I booked that we wouldn't have our own entrance. We didn't mind - Lyn and Barry were lovely to interact with and their house was gorgeous - but I think it's important information. There were also exceptionally steep and twisty stairs - they had mitigated this with soft carpet and lots of handrails, but I don't think you would want to have young children here. Parking was also a bit of an issue! We had to move the car at strange times to secure a local spot (even with a parking permit, thoughtfully provided by the hosts).

Central location just off high street but tucked away within delightful gardens. Few minutes walk to train station and beach. Quiet. Parking permit provided.
Access to rooms was through owners kitchen.
