Great location - perfect home from home.
The beds were comfy and the sofa was soooo comfy.
A beautiful enclosed private garden and a decent kitchen with plenty of utensils to use when cooking which was very much appreciated as lots of properties just don’t have everything needed for a week’s stay.
There were some bits left for us such as bread, milk and biscuits which is a lovely touch.
There were lots of cleaning products there and lots of bathroom bits there too - on first glance it looked like a lived in house but the owner said she always has bits there in case people have forgotten things which is again really lovely 💜
It was a little bit pricey for 5 nights however it was over Easter so not completely unexpected and still cheaper than a lot of the properties available to book so overall happy with the price.
Also we were coming home on Easter Sunday and the owner was so lovely in allowing us to have a late checkout despite having someone arrive that day meaning that we were able to have the Easter bunny come and set up a egg hunt for my boys for that morning so it could be enjoyed and not be a rush to get sorted and leave.
The light switch string had been shortened (likely for safety) but the pull attached was chunky and bashed against the top of the door every time you went in and out which was quite annoying especially in the middle of the night and with 2 children neither of them could reach it and so we had to leave it on at night in case either needed the toilet lol. I would suggest making the cord longer and tacking it securely near the door frame so it’s safe but accessible and out of the way lol.
There were a few dirty items in the kitchen (likely put through the dishwasher as they’re not always 100%) but noted with the owner and she said she would check them and sort it. Didn’t affect us though really as still plenty of items to use in the kitchen as it was well stocked.

The location was perfect for me. The secure garden was ideal for my dog. The parking was such a bonus. It had everything we needed and was lovely and warm and comfortable.
