We liked the location, the overall ambiance and the grandeur, the view and amenities are all great. Especially the quality of food and brakfast spread is quite good too.
The cleanliness of common areas like swimming pool, Gym etc. is not up to the mark for a premium property. Even the restaurants and the breakfast area werent that maintained. We could see a cockroach in the breakfast area.
Also the staff wasnt that warm or courteous. We definitely noticed a difference since we last came in 2023.

Restaurant service-The staff tried their best to provide a wonderful experience even with all the summer rush.
Swimming pool service- clean pool, very good life guards, they keep an eye on everything and are very quick to take any action. The only addition here could be a small shop to buy or rent swimming related stuff like floaties.
Reachability- situated at Barlow Ganj it avoids the peak mussoorie road traffic.
Cleanliness- if someone just visits for few hours, the property would look clean but in staying and this may be a one off case, we got stained blanket(hidden by the cover), the worst was mold stains on pillow cases. we got it replaced but again got the same next day. Had the panoram view room which is really good but the seating area needs to be kept clean.Had some glass shards there. Also after rains someine should get the seating area or play area cleaned.It was left to dry on thr own
So called kids friendly food requests- asked for a simple noodles(plain maggi) and got the answer that its not on the kids menu(never ever saw any kids menu by the way). No attempt of providing a way around or providing something close was made.
House keeping can be improved- they are trying but not able to align the service to accomodate guests plans when they are not the room. had to get the cleaning done while we were having in room lunch.
Lack of set processes- The property is really good but needs a set of robust processes and guideline to become better. example - while checking out no one bothered to ask how was the stay , any issues, what can we do to improve. I had to share my feedback (mainly on the cleanliness) myself stating that they need to know this as it can be a health hazard. second example if of thr high tea..5 star luxury property and we had to queue up to get tea and snacks..when i asled is tgis usual, the staff proudly said yes its sometime even more rush that that day..if its a known issue, why not fix it by arranging the high tea in two or three serving areas. They have a lot of free space.
