Situated just a short walk away from the Olympic Discovery Trail and beach (bring your bikes and kayak!), you’ll find our home a relaxing retreat. Star gaze from the hot tub after a bar-be-que dinner on the expansive deck and roast marshmallows around the fire pit as you tell scary ghost stories.

With this house comes a front row seat to the Salish Sea and the entrance to the port of Port Angeles. With this view you can see every ship transiting the Strait of Juan de Fuca – cruise ships, tankers, bulk carriers, pleasure boats, tugs, and ferries. There are a number of free websites that can identify each of these to the smallest detail.Not only that, we felt that we were lifted into a quiet and beautiful world unto ourselves, with tall trees and bushes surrounding us on the other three sides. Simply beautiful.The house was very clean with comfortable beds. Everything worked – internet, appliances, locks, and TV. Very hassle free. Hot tub was newer and spotless.The owners were great – good communication and respectful of our presence. We would definitely stay again.

This stay was a wonderful experience. The house met, if not exceeded, our expectations. The general instructions and thoughtful directions such as in the kitchen were excellent. The view of the Ocean and the access to the discovery trail was wonderful. The hot tub was nirvana after busy days of hiking and exploration. Our host was very helpful and communicative and ensured that we had the best experience.

Great views, extremely clean and well stocked house that left nothing for needs. Location and access was nice and secluded with no noise from neighbors or light polution..just the gentle sound of the waves. Kids loved close proximity of the beach and trail. I would stay again.
