We’ve been coming to Hatteras Island for many years and this has been one of our favorite properties! When we arrived the condo was spotless and the check-in process was seamless. Dan was great with communication also! We had a couple questions while there and he responded within minutes and never made us feel as though we were a bother. If you enjoy beautiful sunsets the island has to offer, you will be thrilled to know that this location is PERFECT! The convenience of this location was also a major plus as it is within walking distance to several of our favorite places. Dan even has a list of his favorite restaurants on the fridge which helped us in deciding where our next meal would be when we were indecisive. I would like to add that the cherry on top for us wasn’t the kayaks or even the pool access. It was the neighbors! They were so friendly and always made a point to say hello in passing. We look forward to staying at this property again if the opportunity presents itself!

We have stayed in the outer banks every year for the last 20 years and I must say this was one of the cleanest we have ever stayed and the host was amazing. And I have never stayed at a Vrbo that provided such essentials.

The front door kept popping open, so had to keep it locked. The pillow cases on the pillows in the master bedroom had black stuff smeared across them. The master bedroom bed was as hard as a rock and my husband & I had some of the worst nights' sleep of our lives. The neighbors were not friendly & seemed to watch our every move.Parking always seemed to be an issue. The bathrooms are small. On the positive side, our contact for the place was nice and responded to our questions. We liked the booklet with suggestions for places to go and restaurants, etc. Our kids enjoyed using the kayaks.
