Great stay, lovely pool area, close to the beach and town centre.

The location is perfect. The beach and shops, restaurants, bars, car hire etc beginning 3 minutes away. A small shop for provisions, a Suprmarket 3 minutes away. The bus to and from Thira stops almost outside which is great as you'll be first on an almost empty bus which fills up very quickly at other stops. The room had a double bed, small tables with drawers either side. light switches above and space for suitcases, bags and more. Several plug sockets. Air conditioning, Fridge and TV with many channels in good working condition. Balcony with table and chairs for two people. Shower, basin and toilet. Towels supplied. I first stayed some years ago and since then the hotel has been very much refurbished especially the shower/toilet/basin facililities. I was there in 2024, since then a pool has been added with seating and tables outside. Akis his wife and staff are extremely nice and friendly people, approachable and who go out of their way to help make your stay perfect. Akis is Captain of his remarkable ship. See him often at the bow watching out for icebergs...... No chance of sinking so don't worry.
Possibly more drawer space would help a visiting couple but adequate for me.

We had a wonderful stay at Akis Hotel. The host was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always available to help with anything we needed. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the area and access nearby attractions. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Santorini and I would be happy to come back again.
