To ensure the perfect check-in experience, please note our estate's layout: The owners' main residence sits directly on the ocean's edge. Your private, fully detached two-story guest cottage is located on the roadside of the estate, nestled in a lush tropical garden.

From your private, elevated upstairs lanai, you look over the roofline of the main house to enjoy your panoramic ocean views. Guests have full, welcome access to walk the estate path down to the ocean's edge, where private lawn chairs and a seaside table await you!

Designed exclusively for one or two guests, this elegant, cozy cottage offers all the comforts of home wrapped in a lush Hawaiian paradise.

The Space: A beautifully appointed 500-square-foot upstairs apartment (located above an open garage) featuring central air conditioning for your ultimate comfort.

The Layout: Includes a private bedroom with a plush queen-sized bed, a full bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen with new (2026) refrigerator and high-end induction cooktop & convection oven, perfect for whipping up breakfast before a day of exploring.

The Gardens: The cottage is enveloped by a vibrant, mature tropical garden filled with swaying palm trees, bamboo, fragrant ginger, heliconias, and local fruit trees.

While the immediate shoreline is dramatic and rocky (no direct water entry from the property), you are just steps away from the sand.

The Waterfront: Walk out into the front yard (along the owners' house) to the edge of the property to watch surfers enjoying a popular local surf break. The entertainment never stops!

Nearby Beaches: A beautiful sandy beach perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing (Tavares Beach) is just a short 200-yard walk from your door.

Rental Agreement: A secure electronic rental agreement must be read, signed, and returned at the time of booking.

Location & Road Noise: The cottage sits off the scenic, two-lane Hana Highway. While the insulation and central air conditioning heavily minimize traffic sounds, please note that no refunds will be given due to road noise.

Tropical Environment & Local Wildlife: Our cottage is surrounded by a beautiful, thriving tropical garden. Because of Maui’s climate, you will likely see geckos (our friendly, local lizard neighbors), small insects, or ants during your stay, especially if food is left out. The property is professionally treated by a pest control service regularly, but in the tropics, nature coexists with us. If you are extremely sensitive to seeing local bugs or wildlife, a rural tropical setting may not be the best fit for your stay. No refunds will be given for the presence of standard tropical critters.

Strict Property Policies: * Absolutely NO smoking anywhere inside the cottage, outside, or on the property grounds.
No candle burning or open flames of any kind.
No loud music, parties, or outside visitors are permitted at any time.

Quiet hours are strictly enforced from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

Security: For your safety and property protection, a security camera is located in the garage area.
