About this house rental
This beautiful house is in an ideal location, boasting three bedrooms and two bathrooms with many great household amenities, including a dishwasher, a washing machine, a dryer, and more. The house itself is only a 5-minute walk from the beach, a 10-minute walk to one of the most bustling streets in town, Tybreesa Street, and a 15-minute walk to the grand Tybee pier. Even though the house is located on one of the busier sides of the island, it still manages to be a very quiet and peaceful stay. If you want to grab a bite to eat, some of the best restaurants are just around the corner and offer great experiences with their unique themes. Don't worry about parking, you can walk to all the shops and eateries. Our stay was lovely. Location is walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. IGA grocery store is just a short car ride away. The kitchen was well appointed, the beds were comfortable and the showers had very good water pressure. Having the screened porch was a huge plus especially when the weather did not cooperate. We truly enjoyed the big screen TV (didn't know our family all loved baseball so much}. Highly recommend staying at Betsy's home

Check-in was a 4pm but we arrived at 5pm and the house was not cleaned from the previous guests. Betsy was quick to respond and send out a cleaner to address the issue. Once the cleaner arrived she was upset with us that we were there and that this interrupted her evening. We left so she could clean which was fine. Once we returned the house was properly cleaned. Unfortunately, the sheets on one of the beds were stained. After re-washing them, they were still stained and I didn’t even feel like reporting it at that point. Carpet in the bedrooms could be replaced as well as it was kinda rough. The extra amenities for the beach were honestly just a bunch of random stuff laying around in the carport. The Xbox in one bedroom had no games so if your child wants to play, bring your own. Besides the whole cleanliness issue, the location was fantastic. Can’t really beat it if you are looking to be close to the beach and shops. Front porch also great. Was it terrible? No. Would I stay here again? Probably not. My review probably would have been more favorable had the we not experienced the house not being cleaned at arrival.
