About this house rental
Beautiful Historic building built in 1927. Retro place is a charming and unique gem located 1 block from St. Vincents Hospital and just a few blocks from the The Shoppes of Avondale. Our location offers amenities for young professionals traveling for work , fun couples weekend , or a perfect getaway for family time. Avondale is notable for fabulous dining , antique shopping , parks, fun bars and trendy boutiques . Our culinary scene is on the national map.

The apartment is located on the second floor of a 4 unit building. There are 2 units on the top floor and 2 units on bottom floor. There is a backdoor entrance to get to the coin laundry located in a seperate building a few feet away which is used by tenants only not open to the public.

Everything was very nice and clean. The only issue we had was that listing is for 4 people however there’s only 1 bed. So, 1 of us had to sleep on the couch. Overall, nice place and close to everything!!

This is such a cute place. It was perfect for what we needed. The bed is so comfortable. We had a good night's rest. The host is extremely hospitable. She reached out first with the warmest welcome, and answered any questions we had. I highly recommend this place for a getaway. The area is charming and safe. We will definitely use this place again.

This 80+-year-old couple was not prepared for the two sets of stairs we had to navigate as we came and went; one set did NOT have a hand railing, making it very dangerous for our unsteady access. The other complaint is the very awkward parking situation which required us to back out onto the street as there is no place to turn around. Otherwise, it was adequate, clean and quiet.
