Make sure you’re aware this property does not have a parking spot at all. You have to use a parking garage on King Street several blocks away which is inconvenient when coming and going and when it’s super hot and humid outside. The room itself was clean, cute, and comfortable.

Delightful stay! As mentioned by so many others the place was cute, comfortable and location was superb. We walked everywhere and there were great sites within walking distance. The cottage was very convenient. That said you should be aware of a few things if you will be staying here:-There is only one small wall rack to hang any clothes and no dresser at all.-the bathroom has very limited space for toiletries, toothbrushes, and other necessities-recommend bringing a power strip or wall mounted outlet extenders-the “dining” table is tiny with only two chairs and not enough room to serve or eat a full meal-Kitchen only has a small microwave and no toaster oven. And no dish rack for drying hand, washed plates, mugs, etc..-parking is indeed an issue. We brought a large folding cart to haul our stuff when temporarily parking in the driveway-the owners were generally very responsive to phone calls and questions. However, we did have water leaking from the bottom of the toilet and they couldn’t guarantee it would be fixed while we were there because they had to coordinate remotely. Rated 4 stars instead of 5 because of these issues.

GREAT location. Just enough away from the hub that you have a perfect neighborhood walk/bike out and home. Those walks were key after the kind of meals you come to Charleston for.All the lovely things about this place are lovelier than advertised. Outdoor sitting spot. Tucked away, but in the middle of stuff. Kitchen and laundry super handy and well stocked with nice stuff. Two things to be fair about. No closet or clothes hangers or spot to hang up dresses, jackets, formal gear of any kind. No room for a closet, but even having some hangers handy would allow guests to improvise. Second, it is loud here and that is the nature of the beast in a place like Charleston. We lucked out with the front house being full of middle aged ladies who were loud but not raging and went to bed at a decent hour. But all their smoke breaks were just a few feet from our pillows. If it had been a bunch of groomsmen, I could imagine my wife getting uncomfortable with how loud and on top of us that would be.They are not lying about the no parking. We got in late and dark after flight delays to an unfamiliar place. The front house guests' cars stacked in the driveway forced us to suck it in, turn sideways and lift our luggage over our heads every time we entered and exited our place during our stay. It's a pretty tight fit.But Charleston is a tight fit, that's part of it, and if you're entitled to suburban sprawl this will be the least of your problems!

The parking situation is horrible. Could not even walk to our cabin without having to turn sideways in an alley. Keep in mind if there is a dirty car there your designer Ralph Lauren jacket will get dirty. Thank goodness we had clean cars. No tables to set anything on in the bathroom. We had issues with the shower which they graciously fixed and moved us to another place. The maintenance guy even helped us carry our luggage. Lots of construction and loud noises right now and for the foreseeable future. The beds were very comfortable and I have chronic back pain and I can say the beds were great.
