About this house rental
We welcome you to No.16. This is a 500 year-old traditional 3 bedroom house of character which has been luxuriously restored to meet today's modern standards, yet retaining the abundant traditional features for guests to enjoy a unique experience. Property is accessed through a private entrance on a pedestrianised street. It is in a very good and quiet location, close to the main square (piazza), with several historical highlights easily reachable by foot together with many restaurants and cafeterias.

The house is very comfortable and excellently converted. We have visited Birgu several times in the last few years and this is the best property that we have used. It has a very good seating area on the roof and very well located for everything in Birgu. We would use again. We should mention that the stairs to the first floor are very narrow and this could be problematic if you are elderly and have large luggage, otherwise no problem.The cleaner was on hand to help us. Special thank you to him.

3 storey property in a lovely quiet street in the centre of the beautiful town of Birgu - with the added bonus of a large outdoor terrace. The property was exactly as described and very clean and very comfortable. Birgu is convenient for exploring other areas of the Island. Valletta is just 10 min via the ferry or 20 min via a private gondola. Lots of lovely bars cafes and restaurants to choose from at reasonable prices. Highly recommend the walking tour in Valletta, shopping in Sliema and St Peter’s Pool beach area all reachable by ferry or Bolt taxi. We would recommend and hope to visit again.

Great location; easy access to Valetta and bus stop to explore Malta.Not a good place to stay if you have problem with stairs as it is on 3 levels. Lots of restaurants near location.

Property was as depicted in the listing. Only complaint was the lack of kitchen amenities. Cutlery and utensils seemed less than clean. Larger knives, seemed old and grimey. Cutlery could stand to be replaced with a new set with drawers given a good clean. But this was a minor issue.Good location with a small confectionary nearby for essentials (very small). Close to the Grand Marina, with quick, cheep water taxis to Valletta. Great stay, would recommend.
