Located in Metchosin 30 minutes from Victoria and Sooke. The Hidden Pond spacious family suite is perfect for your family or group getaway or anyone looking for peace and tranquility. Two bedrooms include a large primary (King ) with futon coach and a bunkhouse room (two double and two single bunk beds) both with full ensuite bathrooms making this versatile space works for large families. Full kitchen with dishwasher, laundry, large living space with fireplace opens onto the large covered deck for all-season indoor and outdoor living and dining with spectacular pond and forest views. Hot tub, private beach, swimming pond, firepit, trails, and orchard on 10 private acres make this an oasis with so much to offer. This newly renovated suite can be booked to join with our Hidden Pond Gong Suite for a full property buy-out.
Please note this suite has stairs and it is a walk down to the pond , so this might not be a great option for anyone who has mobility issues.

The location was wonderful and provided both tranquility and comfort for a long overdue weekend with girlfriends from different city’s. Lots of space and extra decor touches. Beautifully decorated and the most comfortable beds and pillows! The fresh fruit and baking was such a treat and nice touch. Will definitely be back.

10/10 stay! We spent 7 nights here and couldn't have been happier. The home was exceptional: it was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the rooms were spacious. The kitchen was the best stocked we've ever seen in a vacation rental! We also appreciated the thoughtful extras like muffins, fruit, and treats for the kids. The property was beautiful! The pond was great for swimming, and the boats provided hours of entertainment for our kids. The walking trail and surprise forest “office” was really cute and fun. The hot tub was great for the cooler evenings. Our host was friendly and responsive when we had any questions. A beautiful property and an amazing experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!

We cannot express how great our stay at Hidden Pond was! Rob (Jo-ann was away) went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing stay and he succeeded ten fold. The property was beautiful and the place had plenty of room for our girls weekend. We did not have kids or pets this time but can see the potential for everyone to enjoy the space, children and furry friends alike. Again, such great hosts. Highly reccomend Hidden Pond.

Overall the hosts were kind, the unit was clean and properly lovely. We did however find the description and photos misleading. We were 5-7 women staying together (7 first night, 5 the following night).for reference: all 7 of us viewed the listing and read through description, yet we were all surprised when we checked-in that the property wasn’t private (multiple units in same house, sharing amenities). Other things to note: -the unit is very home construction diy, as it’s one large house broken into many units. -spider problem. We killed 6-8 spiders the size of our palm, most definitely poisonous kind -noise issue: we were texted at 9pm on night one that there was a complaint on our noise level. We had no music playing and were a group of friends catching up and talking (probably loudly). If the unit isn’t sound proofed well enough for the amount of guests it’s allowed, why should we be punished for that? I found it inappropriate and very uncomfortable to get multiple texts and a call before the by-law 10pm quiet time. We were in bed sleeping by 10:15pm nightly, chill.-noise issue: master bedroom is very loud. we were woken up at 1am by very loud voices coming from upstairs, each night. There is also constant loud multiple dogs barking and running upstairs throughout day and night -hot tub was cloudy/ milky in colour. The smell was moldy and we didn’t feel comfortable using itFor the extremely premium price we paid, it was not worth the experience unfortunately
