About this house rental
Spacious 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, with kitchen, sitting area, screened-in patio with outdoor sectional and dining area. Fully rehabbed in 2022.
Shangri-La offers beautiful ocean views and a white sand beach, large Smart TVs in the family room and the primary bedroom. There is a stack washer & dryer; kitchen with utensil and appliance (including blender, coffee maker, toaster), plus board games for those lazy afternoons and evenings.
The house is large enough to comfortable entertain up to 6 people. Your comfort can be environmentally comfortable with individual AC units in all bedrooms, plus a unit in living room area. All bedrooms also have ceiling fans with adjustable lighting. Just off of the living room there is a spacious screened-in patio with a large sectional couch and dining table that seats up to 6 people. There are beach chairs, a gas and charcoal grill and enough space to relax or for the kids to play.
Whether you're on a family vacation or a peaceful getaway to paradise this is the house for you! Shangri-La is located on a 7 mile white sand beach (Tar Bay Beach), centrally located and minutes from the airport. Come and enjoy the fresh sea breeze and calming sounds of the ocean, and lets not forget the breath taking morning sunrises and evening sunsets! This is truly an escape to your very own PARADISE!

Wonderful location on Tar Bay beach! The screened in porch is what sets this apart from other places. Ironically, the wind was so strong that there wasn’t a single bug my entire trip, but that porch is very peaceful listening to the waves crash and the perfect breeze. Will definitely stay here again!

The house was very clean and had everything we could need and want. The owner was very nice and available for anything that was needed. We would definitely stay at this property again.

We were in Shangri La for 5 days and 4 nights. The house is wonderful, completely furnished, and contains everything you might need. Just bring your clothes and toiletries.
The screened in porch is the best thing about this place. It is huge with a dining table and couch/love seat combination. We all slept out there at one time or another.
The house is very clean, neat, and well maintained. Plenty of room for 5-6 people. Kitchen was very well stocked with ample cooking and eating utensils.
The beach is very close to the house and the sound of the waves was very soothing and peaceful. One day a storm knocked out the power and the next door neighbor checked on us. I am not sure I have ever had a better vacation. Thank you so much for allowing us this opportunity.
The only minor drawback to the place is the parking and entrance to the property was a little tight. But based on the layout and beautiful entrance, I am not sure what could be done.
You cannot go wrong staying here. It was completely wonderful!
