North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Living space
The open living area is warm and well-lit, with natural light moving through the space during the day and a 70" HDTV taking over at night. Stream what you want - Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Chromecast, Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, and Netflix are all connected. Central air conditioning and heating keep things comfortable year-round, and a ceiling fan adds airflow when you want it. A dedicated workspace with fast Wi-Fi means remote work is fully covered if your trip blends business with pleasure.
Sleeping arrangements
Each of the three bedrooms is furnished with a king bed, room-darkening shades, and ample clothing storage - walk-in closets, standard closets, and dressers depending on the room. Premium bed linens and a quiet, private setup in each room mean everyone in your group sleeps well, whether you're recovering from a long festival day or an early Jazz Fest morning.
Kitchen & dining
The kitchen is stocked and ready to use. Frigidaire stainless steel appliances include an electric stove, single oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher - along with a microwave, hot water kettle, drip coffee maker, and toaster. Cooking basics, dishes, wine glasses, baking sheets, and barbecue utensils are all provided. Sit down together at the dining table, or take the meal outside. A washer and dryer are in-unit and free to use throughout your stay.
Bathrooms
Two and a half bathrooms give the group room to move in the mornings. The full bathrooms include a bathtub and walk-in shower, and both are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, hair dryer, and cleaning products.
Outdoor living
The fully fenced backyard is one of the standout features of this home. Gather around the fire pit in the evening, fire up the gas BBQ grill, or set up a game of cornhole on the lawn. Outdoor furniture gives you somewhere to settle in and take in the city skyline view. Two covered off-street parking spots are included, and an on-site Level 2 EV charger is available on-site (daily fee applies).
Family-friendly features
Traveling with young children? A pack 'n play and folding high chair are available upon request, and babysitter recommendations can be provided. The home also features exterior Ring cameras - positioned outside only, with no view of any interior spaces - along with smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, a fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit.

This home sits steps from the Endymion parade route, with Trader Joe's nearby for stocking up on arrival. The Canal Streetcar, French Quarter, Superdome, and Bourbon Street are all within reach, making it an easy base for Mardi Gras, Essence Fest, Jazz Fest, concerts, and Saints games. A laundromat is also nearby for longer stays.

This is a beautiful property! I really like the open floor plan of the first floor and it was nice to have the grill and utensils available for our stay. Rags for handwashing dishes and outlets in the bathrooms would be my only criticisms. Nice Work!

The house is absolutely stunning, brand new. The backyard is a great size for a BBQ or playing corn hole. The rooms are a good size and the walk in closets are to die for! Locations is close enough to everything (within 10min drive) but far enough away that you do not get any noise traffic. The area is slowly being rebuilt so roads (like everywhere else in the US) have some potholes. We felt safe with the alarm on and were not worried about being out after dark. Owner is quick to respond to questions and any issues we had were taken care of very quickly. Highly recommend.

This was a beautiful property, Tastefully decorated and very spacious. The host made the process so easy and helped make our stay extra enjoyable by providing suggestions for dining/entertainment in the area.
