Location is great to walk to the center and easy access with public transport. Florance is a very difficult city to travel by car due to ZTL restrictions, and the guesthouse is inside ZTL, so you need to park a bit far out to avoid it and walk 25 mins. We received great communication from the host regarding how we should travel there, parking options, and instructions to access to the room. Room was very clean and spacious. Overall, very nice experience.
Being inside ZTL makes it very difficult to access by car. It's such a pain for visitors. It has nothing to do with the hotel but definitely impacts our experience in Florance.

The bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything in the city is pretty much within walking distance. Plenty of restaurants and bars around. There is also a supermarket across the street.
The noise in and around the building woke us up way too early every day. During the evening there was also quite a bit of noise from upstairs, it sounded like they were moving furniture around or something.

The room was quiet, which was important to us. The location is a little outside the city center, but it’s still a nice area.
They said towels are replaced after three days. We stayed for five days, but unfortunately, ours weren’t replaced at all during our stay. It felt like they were trying to save on the towel change, which was a bit disappointing. It’s not very pleasant trying to dry yourself with a towel that’s still damp from the day before.

The beds were made. It was a good location. The staff was nice.
The lobby smelled of smoke. There were 31 steep stairs to climb. The exterior bathroom was right outside their office! The shower is extremely small. A large person would not fit.
