About this apartment rental
Located about 50 minutes to an hour north of Lisbon. This is a great getaway from the hustle and bustle unless you eat in August when the beach and boardwalk restaurants fill up with life and Portuguese culture. Friendly family oriented beach with a beautiful lagoon shaped beach that lets out into the Atlantic ocean. Beautiful scenery surrounds this town everywhere you go, not to mention all the great towns of Nazare, Alcobaca, and not to mention the old village / castle in Obidos, Caldas da Rainha, Batalha and Fatima.

The unit was clean and in a good location with ample parking. It was a nice size for our family of four with easy access to the beach (about a 10 minute walk) restaurants and shops. São Martinho is a great beach for families as the cove prevents the really big waves found at Nazare and other beaches. Would definitely return!

Good sized and well equipped apartment. It’s a 10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. Very small balconies, the one from the lounge overlooks a main road. As we didn’t hire a car there are a couple of useful mini markets nearby, we found the public transport reliable and used it for visits to Obidos, Caldas and Nazare.

The house is what you see on the pictures and it is near the beach and restaurants. The swimming pool is a nice alternative for the cloudy days. Despite the not so good weather, me and my family have rested a lot and met some new friendly faces. Thanks Helena, have a great Summer!

Our host was very friendly. Provided us with essential information about places to visit nearby. She was always available if we had any questions. The appartment is very spacious and exactly as described on the website. Everything is clean and the beach is within 5-10 min walking distance. All in all we enjoyed the stay and would like to comeback soon.
