This was our 15th stay at The Splash. We love the facility and the units we have rented for our vacations. However, something needs to be done about the elevators. There are two for each tower. Every year one of them is out of service. This year an elevator on the east tower was out of service from Monday until Thursday for repairs. It turns out that majority of the maintenance performed to make it operational again was routine maintenance. Why pick the week before Memorial Day to perform this maintenance? It seems like the off season months would be the best time for this. This issue is causing us to consider exploring other properties and resorts in the PCB area. Everytime you need to go to your condo from the beach or anywhere else at least 30 min of wait time for an elevator has to planned into the schedule.

This was a great condo. Condo was very spacious for our family of 4, with 2 kids that are 8 and 5. Master bath was really big, the hallway with the bunk beds was wide, the 2nd bath was big and had a nice big shower. Plenty of hot water. Kind bed was comfortable. It was clean when we arrived. I would definitely go back! I would suggest that the kitchen be a little more stocked for those who want to try and cook instead of go out. We did a mix of eating in and eating out. I couldn't find pot holders or a baking sheet. Some containers for leftovers would be convenient too. Beach view was great. Our kids loved the lazy river and waterpark. Host was easy to reach and answered questions before our stay. We would definitely stay again. It is nice having the Alvins island and ice cream/candy shop attached to the parking garage. The food at the bar by the pool was good. The condo itself is located pretty far away from majority of the popular restaurants. We usually had to drive a good 25 to 30 minutes due to traffic. However there was no traffic around this condo. It was easy getting in and getting out.

The location right on the beach was great. Loved having a balcony as well. I wish there were more walkable places nearby. The on-site grill was surprisingly very very good. The pools were great for us and our kids as well. It was nice to get free beach chairs and an umbrella. This property was ok, but could have had some nicer accommodations. The bed and bedding were not great. The bedroom furniture was outdated. The tile throughout was large and the humidity made it quite slippery. Especially for kids. The elevators were very slow and one stopped working completely before we left so we had to take the stairs because the wait time was very long. It was a little tough getting back and forth to the car going up and down several elevators and then walking across the overpass. Overall this was an ok stay. I wish it would have been a little nicer for the price.
