About this house rental
Welcome to your own private Sonoma Wine Country Oasis—a gated 2.6-acre retreat surrounded by lush gardens, expansive lawns and inviting outdoor living spaces, just minutes from Sonoma Town Plaza, wineries and restaurants.
The outdoor experience is what makes this property truly special. Spend sunny afternoons around the cobalt-blue pool, soak in the hot tub, nap in the hammock, gather around the fire pit, or discover one of the many peaceful spots among the zen gardens and lounging decks. Share long alfresco dinners beneath the grapevine at our oversized teak dining table. Our guests have described the grounds as stunning, magical, a hidden oasis, a fairytale, and like having their own private resort. Some have even told us they shortened their winery visits simply because they wanted more time to enjoy the property.
The main ranch house offers four bedrooms plus a family room with a queen sleeper sofa, providing flexible accommodations for families and groups. Step through the front door into a spacious, light-filled great room, where vaulted ceilings soar above the dining and kitchen areas and the space flows naturally into the living room—creating one generous setting for cooking, dining, relaxing and gathering together. Inside, relaxed modern comfort meets understated luxury, with plush down-filled sofas, curated midcentury modern furnishings, wool rugs, high-thread-count luxury bedding, and soft 100% cotton linens and towels. The generously equipped kitchen makes cooking and entertaining easy, while the open great-room design keeps everyone connected.
Two charming poolside SheSheds offer additional sleeping accommodations, along with a lounge area and outdoor shower. These distinctive spaces have a more rustic, indoor-outdoor character than conventional climate-controlled bedrooms, so we encourage guests to review the photographs and sleeping arrangements to make sure they are the right fit for their group.
The property is especially wonderful for family vacations, girls' getaways, milestone birthdays, wedding weekends, reunions, and groups of friends exploring Wine Country together. Begin your morning with coffee in the gardens, spend the afternoon discovering Sonoma's wineries, return for a swim, gather for dinner beneath the grapevine, and end the evening around the fire pit or soaking in the hot tub beneath the stars.

Priority is beautiful! Plants, fliers and trees abound and provide a private sanctuary expedience. And location to downtown Sonoma and all of Sonoma and Napa is fantastic!

Positives: Jennifer did a great job communicating, great location, beautiful outdoor space, well equipped amenities in bathrooms and kitchen. Check-in was easy, although manual tour (vs. a keycode and a book with instructions). Overall we had a decent stay (except for sleeping).Negatives: the "she"shed that included 2 bathrooms were rustic (greenhouse style heat with no AC) and accompanied by an entirely outdoor shower, toilet and sink (curtains instead of walls/doors). The twin she-shed beds weren't fully made, and temps were hard to control throughout main house so most of the 7 adult women had a hard time sleeping.The front door lock was sticky (didn't trust we'd be able to unlock it after multiple attempts, so had to leave it unlocked). Had to ask twice to get a code as one was never provided, not during check-in tour or as part of standard text of instructions.Would suggest adding at least one full length mirror in the house. And add mirrors in each of the bedrooms. It was hard with 7 women not having this.The main house was nice/average, but it felt like we were living in someone's primary house vs. a house setup like a resort. It would be a decent choice if you want the pool space plus 4-5 beds (indoor only).
