Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a reasonably good experience, with some notable new additions which are great including new fridge, drinks fridge and new garage doors which now close and can be locked. Also great to have keys to both front and back doors - this has not been the case for many years. Suggested areas for updating include: new rear security door which can be latched and not slam on closing, door closure added to front door and ability to locked without key, ceiling fans cleaned, furniture throughout is old, including pantry, drawer units, wardrode etc. This makes them difficult to open and close. Beds are soft and provide little back support. Lounges are uncomfortable and lumpy. There was also an unpleasant dealing with the Real Estate who gave permission for a trades person to enter and work inside the kitchen when we were not present at the property. The trades person was not supported nor monitored by the Agent. This occurred without our approval. This was most unprofessional and without regard for both us, our property and the poor trades person who was extremely uncomfortable being put in such a position when we unexpecantly returned. Overall, there is a significant lack of glassware, with odd / old glassware available and of random sizes. Overall cleanless of crockery when first arriving continues to be an issue. Consideration of a lockbox facility would also be of benefit and is commonly used by other agents / facilities in the area.
