The property was beautiful and Jennifer was very kind and accommodating. Great location. I stayed with friends to attend a wedding nearby so didn’t spend much time in the house, but we really enjoyed the location, view, and outdoor space.
We enjoyed our time but were a little surprised to find a very lived-in home. It was definitely clean - major plus - but full of personal belongings, mostly full drawers/closets, some partially eaten food in the garage fridge, etc. Jennifer did tell us she lived on the property during our check in/house tour, calling this her ‘big guest house,’ but it seems more likely that she lives in this same house when it is not rented out, and in a separate walled off room within the same building when it is rented out. I have nothing against this as an option, just wish it was mentioned explicitly as some of my fellow guests were uncomfortable when realizing this. One other FYI, there is only one bedroom with a door, all others are either open concept or separated by a curtain.
Again, beautiful place, just wish I had known more about the set up as I was expecting more based on the cost and listing.
If these caveats are okay with you and your group, highly recommend.
