It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here. This classic New Orleans home gives you a comfortable base right in the middle of it all, with space to spread out, a fenced backyard to unwind in, and everything you need to settle in like a local.

The open-concept living area is bright and welcoming, anchored by a 50" HDTV with Hulu and Netflix - perfect for a quiet night in after a full day out. Fast WiFi and an ethernet connection mean remote work is just as easy as streaming, and the dedicated workspace (in a room with a door) keeps things separate when you need to focus. Central air conditioning and heating keep the home comfortable no matter the season, and ceiling fans add an extra layer of ease on warmer evenings.
Sleeping arrangements
Three bedrooms sleep up to six guests across three beds. Each room is dressed with fresh bed linens, room-darkening shades for a solid night's rest, hangers, and closet storage to keep things organized. Two full bathrooms are stocked with the essentials - shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, hot water, and plush towels - so you can arrive and unpack without a grocery run.
Kitchen & dining
The kitchen is fully set up for everything from a quick breakfast to a proper home-cooked meal. You'll find a Frigidaire stainless steel electric stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and drip coffee maker, along with cooking basics, dishes and silverware, a baking sheet, and wine glasses. Coffee is provided. Pull up a chair at the dining table for meals in, or use the workspace to plan your next day around the city.
Outdoor living
Step outside to your own private patio and fully fenced backyard - a rare find in New Orleans. Whether it's a slow morning coffee, an evening wind-down, or giving your pet some room to roam, the backyard offers a calm, private escape from the city's energy. A private entrance makes coming and going on your own schedule simple, and free street parking is available nearby.
Family & extras
Traveling with little ones? A crib (mini, 38" x 24", sheets provided), pack 'n play (sheets provided), and folding high chair (with padding, straps, and food tray) are all available upon request. Babysitter recommendations are also on hand. An in-unit washer and dryer, iron, and first aid kit round out the practical touches that make longer stays just as easy as short ones.

Excellent. There is not enough wonderful words to describe. I’m from New Orleans. Have family & friends in Mid City & all over dat area . Impressive. Will recommend to everyone & staying there again. Location is a plus

The property was beautiful and just as the pictures showed. It was super close to Trader Joe’s and made for a very easy grocery run (literally). I would stay here again without question. The only things I can find anything negative to say about (which are minor in my opinion) would be the pillows were very flat (I had to grab a couch pillow to sleep on), no dedicated/reserved parking (first come first serve street parking), and the water dispenser in the fridge didn’t work (but the ice dispenser did).

Communication felt impersonal throughout the process, and I never actually interacted directly with the host. It became clear this is run more as a business operation than a personal hosting experience.All communication went through a third-party booking management company, and the check-in process required extensive screening. I was asked to provide sensitive personal information—including a photo ID, date of birth, address, and a photo of myself—through an unsecured platform via Google/Gmail. That process felt excessive and raised concerns about privacy and data security. I have never had that experience with a booking, ever.
