This was truly an affordable gem! The apartment was big enough for the family to spread out and have some space. Cute, clean and very comfortable, absolutely loved just hanging out at the apartment with the family, so much better than a hotel. Vilassar de Mar is very safe and the apartment itself has great security as well, you need a code to enter the building and another to enter the apartment. Beachfront view, just a couple minutes walk across the street to a very nice beach. Also, less than 10 minutes walk to the Rodalies train that takes you into Barcelona in 30 minutes for about 5 Euro so, it’s easy, cheap and very convenient. There are some restaurants, cafes and even some little stores close to the apartment, so a lot of what you might need is available.
The hosts were great and very attentive. You’ll need WhatsApp to contact the hosts, which can be confusing initially. Once I downloaded that, it was very easy to talk to them, they are bilingual! I was nervous to use their payment platform because it was outside of Expedia, but it was safe and easy to use with a link they send. They offer parking as well for a small fee, which we used and it was very close to the apartment.
We truly enjoyed our stay and look to come back again and again! A great place to be to have access to the beach but also the big city. Thank you, David and Batid!

Property is a little dated could use some updates. It was initially very hard to communicate with the owner. Once we managed with the help of VRBO, we found out they use what’s app and a different payment system which is not indicated in the listing. The property owner was responsive but the property manager was not good at replying.Apartment location was good and very convenient to get into Barcelona.
