About this cabin rental

Just 5 minutes from the Parkway, yet tucked into quiet mountain trees, Alpine Sky Cabin brings the resort home: a private heated indoor pool, a hot tub under the stars, a private theater, and a game room loft with pool table and arcade. Coffee on the deck at sunrise, Smoky Mountain hikes by day, Dollywood a short drive away, then back to your own pool and fireplace by night. Book now and make the memories you'll be replaying all year long.

ABOUT THIS SPACE

Alpine Sky Cabin is a Smoky Mountain basecamp for big groups who want the whole resort experience without leaving the driveway. Three levels, vaulted ceilings, a stone fireplace, and a custom dining table for 10 give everyone room to spread out and actually be together.

The main floor centers on an open kitchen built for feeding a crowd, with a bright living room and two king bedrooms (one with a bonus futon) close to the action, backed by two full bathrooms.

Upstairs turns into a playground: a loft game room with pool table and multicade arcade cabinet, a king bedroom with daybed and trundle, and a themed bunk room with a Queen air mattress, plus two more full bathrooms.

Downstairs is where the cabin earns its reputation. The private heated indoor pool stays warm and ready any season, and the private theater seats eight for a proper movie night. A second bunk room, a half bath, and washer/dryer round out the level.

Outside, a string-lit covered deck with rocking chairs leads to the hot tub, grill, and outdoor dining area, plus seasonal access (late May-early September) to the community pool down the road. The kitchen is fully stocked, and a Pack 'n Play, high chair, kids' dinnerware, and a dedicated playroom are ready for little ones.

Guests consistently call out how much there is to do without leaving the property. One recent guest said the pool alone made the trip. Another's highlight was spotting a black bear right on the doorstep, a reminder this is real Smoky Mountain wilderness.

LOCATION & WHAT'S NEARBY

Alpine Sky Cabin sits just 5 minutes from the Parkway, the main artery connecting Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville, so you get quiet mountain nights without sacrificing a short drive to everything.

Dollywood and Splash Country are roughly a 10-15 minute drive. Dolly Parton's Stampede is about 10 minutes away, and The Island in Pigeon Forge, with its Ferris wheel, shops, and restaurants, is roughly 10-15 minutes down the Parkway.

The Titanic Museum and WonderWorks are both about 10-15 minutes away for a rainy day, and the Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster and Outdoor Gravity Park are roughly 10-15 minutes out. Great Smoky Mountains National Park is about a 30-minute drive for waterfall hikes and Cades Cove wildlife-watching.

The cabin sits back in the trees on a quiet mountain road, giving you the peace of a true retreat while staying close enough that nobody's driving 45 minutes each way for ice cream.

WHO THIS HOME IS BEST FOR

This cabin is built for groups who want to be together, not spread across separate bookings.

Large family reunions land here often, since king bedrooms, bunk rooms, and pull-out sofas let multiple generations share one roof comfortably.

Bachelor and bachelorette groups love the game room loft and private theater, plus a hot tub for a late-night wind-down.

Groups chasing resort amenities without a resort find it all here: heated pool, theater, pool table, and arcade for nights the group stays in.

Families with young kids benefit from the dedicated playroom, Pack 'n Play, high chair, and kid-friendly bunk rooms already set up.

GUEST ACCESS

You'll have full access to the entire cabin for your stay, including the private heated indoor pool and outdoor hot tub, both available any time, day or night. From late May through early September, guests also get seasonal access to the community outdoor pool, open daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. It's a short drive from the cabin: from the parking area, turn left toward the road, continue to the end, stop at the sign, then turn left into the pool lot.

PARKING

The private driveway has room for multiple vehicles, so groups arriving in separate cars won't need to juggle spots or park on the street. Parking is free and included with your stay, no permits or passes required. Free street parking is also available nearby if your group needs the overflow space. Because the cabin sits on a mountain road, we strongly recommend a 4WD or AWD vehicle for winter stays, especially if snow or ice is in the forecast.

HOUSE RULES

Check-in is at 4:00 PM and checkout is at 10:00 AM, giving housekeeping time to reset the cabin between every stay. Before arrival, Happy Guest handles the rental agreement and ID check in about two minutes on your phone, along with a refundable $500 hold like any hotel. Arrival details follow right after.

This is real Smoky Mountain wilderness, and wildlife is part of the deal. Bears and other mountain critters may pass through, so please use the bear-proof trash cages provided at all times and never leave food outside.

If snow or ice is in the forecast, a 4WD or AWD vehicle is strongly recommended for safe access up the mountain road, and we suggest travel insurance in case winter weather affects your plans. Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are installed throughout, and pets are welcome with advance notice.

The movie theatre was such a treat for our group, and the heated indoor pool made it even better. The peaceful setting with beautiful views was exactly what we needed to unwind. We were so sad to leave. Definitely one of those places you’ll want to come back to.

Great place to stay! We loved sitting out on the deck and enjoying the mountain views. Plenty of fun things in the house and places to spread out and relax. The kids loved the pool. Everything was clean and communication was great!
