Yes, the sun does shine in the rain forest. Want to play horse shoes?
Small, but very well-stocked. All you need is your food and wine.
You might get lucky but really they like to avoid people and dogs......

About this cabin rental

Hello. At this time of the corona virus outbreak. Here are some reassurances about my place.I am on the West end of Jefferson County. 65 miles from Port Angeles and 110 miles from Aberdeen. The closest town is Forks and that is 15 miles away. There is a large grocery store. I am isolated, with no super close neighbours and in the middle of 27 acres of pristine forest land. I have my own well and I have it tested every year. My crew of helpers are doing a great job of keeping the property clean and comfortable. We get lots of great comments about this. Our favorite comment..."We can't wait to come back". The decks, gazebo, huge yard ,and the wonderful trails are really fun to relax around. And so quiet too.

This was our second stay at this property. We really love the location. Lots of privacy in a beautiful setting. Close to the Hoh Rain Forest. The beach at the end of Oil City Road was an unexpected gem. The owner is very friendly and communicated well from the initial booking until our departure. I'd gladly return again.

Property: This is like a camp house. Not a lot of frills but excellent location.Location: Within 10 min drive to HOH park entrance. 30 min drive to Beach Four with excellent sea life to view in the low tide. Also within driving distance: Rialto Beach, Tree of Life and pretty much all of the beaches. Lake Quinault is also not too far and worth the drive. Food options: Forks is pretty limited. In my opinion cooking at the property is good idea. Grocery store is good quality. Additional positives: Sitting on the front porch and listening to the birds. Cottonwood Park is a mile or two down the road, requires discovery pass but has direct access to the HOH river, I walked down. Oil City Trailhead is 19 min down the road but didn't get a chance to check it out. Has access to the beach. The washer and dryer were nice to allow us to clean our dirty clothes. Funny finds: There is a outhouse and outdoor shower

My family of four had a wonderful time at this property. It was beautiful, peaceful, and central to everything we wanted to see. The owner takes great care in making sure guests are comfortable and have everything they need. We had a wonderful time at this magical place!

The property was very nice, and the trails. Kamala was very nice. She has a house out of town, but chooses to stay on property when guests are there. All 3 beds were really uncomfortable, and seem very old, people have also been giving her bad reviews about them for years. I have allergies and asthma from cats. Had to leave a day early because I think the place used to have cats. The carpet was really dirty. There was a lot of clutter and disorganization when it comes to things in the kitchen and living room that seemed like just storage for owner. Water pressure great. Not sure why I'd use outdoor shower given it's never hot in that area of WA. Excellent location in relation to Ruby Beach. Wish better selection of DVDs, like the Twilight series or scary movies from 80s and 90s. Good WiFi. Very quiet. Kamala wants to know number of dogs and breed before you come to property. You'll need to bring 25 cash per dog. Futon/sofa and chair in living room extremely uncomfortable. If she invested 1500 to update beds and living room furniture, as well as removed carpet and had rugs professionally cleaned every once and a while, we would return. It's worth the investment when you consider the increase in returning customers and the reduced need to clean.
