Incredible view from this Palmetto Dunes condo in Captains Walk. This property is on the 5th floor with nothing but a clear view of the beach and the sunrise. You are only a few steps away from the dunes and the beach in this spacious, oceanfront condo. It has a two-bedroom floor plan featuring a master bedroom suite with a king bed, lots of room in the living area, a sleeper sofa, a full kitchen, and a private balcony. You will also enjoy the big oceanfront heated pool adjacent to a large cabana with a covered deck. There's a kids' pool, too.
Captains Walk is conveniently located on one of the finest beaches on Hilton Head, a central location on the bike path between the Mariott Beach and Golf Resort and Omni Hotel. There is much to do here with world-class golf and tennis facilities in Palmetto Dunes. Marine, shopping, and dining are all within a few minutes of these locations.
No detail has been spared in this fantastic villa. Designer-decorated, the owners of this villa have made it the perfect home away from home. The fully equipped kitchen features custom countertops and a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer. The dining area seats six comfortably, leading to a bright and cheery living room with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. This room also has a sleeper sofa, flat-screen TV, a DVD player, and sliding glass doors to a spacious oceanfront balcony with four seats. This is a perfect area for morning coffee or early evening dining. The master suite of this wonderful villa has a king bed, LCD TV, DVD player, and a private bath. The guest bedroom has two twin beds and LCD/DVD TV. This bedroom also has a private bath. This villa is one of our favorites and is sure to be one of yours!
The Captain's Walk complex has beautiful landscaping, a barbecue area, an oceanfront pool, and a hot tub. Located in Palmetto Dunes, a semitropical resort with the best beach on Hilton Head, it offers a relaxing, secure vacation location year-round. It's a wonderful experience you will enjoy returning to year after year!

This condo had a sweeping panoramic view of the Atlantic from the LR windows & balcony. Gorgeous! The LR was well appointed & comfy. LR TV was perfect. DR was lovely. Kitchen suited our needs well & had the amenities that we needed. However, it could stand an upgrade to stone counter tops from laminate & new cabinets. Had a full sized washer & dryer - washer was noisy & dryer took a long time to dry clothes even with a clean vent. Refrigerator freezer had a problem making ice. The condo needed a good paint job as there were many spots that had been painted in a close but not matching color. Primary bedroom was lovely & the bed was firm but we liked that! Sheets were a bit rough & "pilly" and should be upgraded. Primary bath was nice but the shower fan was rather inefficient in dealing with steam. There were multiple small spiders in the ceiling over the door. Needed a good cleaning. Second bedroom & bath were quite nice. The pool was great as was beach access. Close to shops & restaurants. All in all, our stay was great but not a 10/10. We both thought that the owner needs to address some of these issues to be top notch. The A/C just didn't seem to cool adequately or to remove the humidity from the condo. Not sure if we'd stay again Communication with the condo manager was excellent.

Another amazing trip to Hilton Head! Wonderful stay from start to finish. The unit was exactly as described — lovely space with no surprises. Communication with the owner was exceptional throughout; responsive, helpful, and made the whole experience seamless. Would absolutely recommend and hope to return!

First the location is great. The condo is a bit dated a needs some updating and repairs. The floor is tile but creaks as you walk (as if the tiles are unlocked from the floor). There was no ironing board. Master shower leaked water onto the floor. Carpet needs replaced, has a lot of staining from years of traffic. Couches were nice. Property managers only provided 4 wash clothes for an entire week which meant we washed towel and wash clothes every night. Did not get a “welcome kit” which I have come to appreciate which typically includes dishwasher tabs, fresh sponge to wash dishes and laundry tabs. Property was clean but dated, would be the title for me. Property contact was very responsive and helpful.

Not horrible but not great either. Older furnishings (picture grandma's house) No ceiling fans and the A/C struggles to put out any force of air. We actually went and brought a fan to sleep with. Ice maker in fridge was inadequate. TV in living room took a while to figure out how to turn on. Small mold issue in kitchen cabinet.
The location was spot on. Beautiful view off balcony. Short walk around building to reach beach. Pool looked nice but we didn't use it.
If you're looking for 5 start on the beach, look elsewhere. If you're ok with some minor inconveniences, this is a decent place.
