Welcome to Shades of Blue, a beautiful four-bedroom, four-bathroom self-catering beachfront home on the tranquil shores of West Bay, Grand Cayman. Nestled within a gated nine-home community, this single-family oasis offers the perfect blend of privacy and convenience — ideal for multigenerational vacations, family getaways, or a friends’ retreat. With your own private pool and breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea, your perfect island escape begins the moment you arrive.
The home comfortably accommodates eight guests with three king bedrooms featuring ensuite bathrooms and a queen bedroom with a full adjacent bathroom. On the first floor, there’s a king ensuite and the queen bedroom, while upstairs, two luxurious king suites each feature a private balcony overlooking the ocean — one with a deep soaking tub and the other with a spa-like rain shower.
The open-concept living space is bright, airy, and designed for relaxation and connection, with a spacious family room, a 75-inch TV, and sliding glass doors that frame endless ocean vistas. The dining area and fully equipped kitchen open to a recently updated patio, making it easy to enjoy meals indoors or alfresco.
Just steps from the living area, your private five-foot-deep pool awaits, complete with a built-in lounging ledge. It’s surrounded by a travertine patio with an outdoor shower, a 10-seat dining table, and a Weber grill. There are two cozy conversation areas, one in dappled sunlight, the other nestled under an oversize pergola.
Beyond the patio, your private beach beckons with eight chaise lounges and a hammock strung between swaying palms. We’re situated on a living coastline, so except seasonal changes to the lower beach frontage.
For water lovers, the area is perfect for snorkeling, diving, paddleboarding, and sea kayaking, and we provide a selection of body boards, pool noodles, and rafts to enhance your stay. We also have a small selection of snorkeling gear and water shoes, which we recommend for navigating the living coral reefs.
Other amenities include a community gym and sport court with basketball, tennis and pickleball. No need to bring your own gear – we’ve got supplies on hand. Please note that as of August 2026, the sport court is under construction for resurfacing.
Located just 25 minutes from Owen Roberts International Airport and George Town, and only 10 minutes from Camana Bay and Seven Mile Beach, Shades of Blue is perfectly situated to explore local dining, attractions like Barker’s National Park, the Cayman Turtle Centre, and the Cayman Islands Yacht Club, or simply to savor the serenity of your private seaside oasis. We had a wonderful stay! There was a total of 7 people in our group ranging from 70 to 8 years old. The house accommodated everyone very nicely and had anything you could think of from kitchen utensils to activities for outside. Communication was great and we had a very easy checkin and checkout. The outside space was beautiful. There was plenty of seating for eating, laying out or relaxing! The pool was perfect and looked over the beach and ocean. We also went down to Sting Ray Island and swam with the stingrays which was a really cool experience. There are so many things close by and within driving distance. Overall we would highly recommend this home and are already planning to come back next year!

Our stay at Shades of Blue was amazing! The views were incredible. This is the first property we stayed at where the pool was heated to pleasant temperature.The house had plenty of amenities and was well taken care of. Louie was readily available if we needed anything for the house or if we were looking for recommendations on places to go.The house is close to many beaches, shopping, and restaurants.We would not hesitate to stay at Shades of Blue again!

A lot or work is needed on the property: Bathroom faucets were broken as were the sliding glass doors. We could never get the Kitchen Stove to work—despite using the Operation Manual provided. It appeared the Manual did not match the Stove. A number of tiles need to be replaced in the swimming pool. Beach furniture is dated. Beautiful outside setting in a quiet residential area. Private pool and outside covered deck were terrific.
