About this house rental
Beautiful Private House situated on its own grounds surrounded by trees. 10 minute drive to the city centre. Located very close to Blarney Castle also. Enjoy the benefits of this quiet urban location with plenty of private parking with easy access to all the city has to offer. Private office space also provided on the ground floor looking onto front garden area.

This house was perfect for two couples. It was in a nice quiet residential area and central to every place we wanted to venture to. Blarney castle right down the road. Had a rainy afternoon and decided to stay in, cook a meal, and relax with the TV. Grocery store right nearby, and highly recommend The Barn Gastropub for a meal. Won't be disappointed!

Jeremy, our host, was incredibly responsive to our questions and needs. The property is a lovely and charming home. We enjoyed the spacious rooms, and beautiful home. It is in a great location with easy and quick access to Cork.

The inside of the house was clean. The outside could use some sprucing up. The grass was overgrown and the outside furniture was in rough shape and overturned. The description of the property advertises a shower/tub in the downstairs bathroom. This is not accurate. The downstairs tub had a handheld sprayer. There was no curtain rod or shower curtain . I do not consider this a shower. Because of this set up, the four of us had to shower upstairs. When we arrived we followed the instructions and turned on the heat which also controls the water heater. The heat remained on the entire time during our stay. We had to stagger taking showers. Two of us showered in the evening, two in the morning. Unfortunately the second person would end up with cold water. The heat was on the entire time. There was another guest who had a similar complaint in a previous review so I am guessing this is an ongoing issue. I explained this to Jeremy and he just asked if the heat was on. Additionally the 2nd night of our stay the internet was freezing up and going in and out. My son had some online College classes he had to complete assignments for and was unable to due to this issue. We decided to leave a day early because of the issues. I did request a refund for the one night which we did not get. I have used VRBO many times and I can say this is the first time I was disappointed in a property.
