We thought this cottage was an amazing place to stay in Rome.Location: we thought this was the absolute best location. It's in a bustling little neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and shops, BUT not as busy as closer to Piazza Navona where our friends stayed. It was literally a 6 minute walk to where all the tours meet for the Coliseum and Domus Aurea. It took about 18 minutes to the Pantheon.The Cottage: From the street, you enter the cottage property through a little hallway. The cottage is basically located in a courtyard in between several other buildings. The cottage and it's 2 private patios felt extremely private, even though technically there are some other balconies looking down on you, nobody ever seemed to be there. We definitely like our privacy and felt it was very private. The cottage itself is very cute. It's fairly basic, but it was clean and had everything we needed. Everything worked perfectly. We totally loved it. Compared to a regular hotel, we thought this was an awesome way to experience Rome. We also loved that the cottage was stocked with Nespresso coffee pods, which made the mornings easy and enjoyable.The host: Lorenzo and his staff Mrs Karol gave us their WhatsApp and they awe're extremely attentive. Very quick to answer. Very friendly. Couldn't have been better. They manage several units and they are professional and know what they're doing.

Coliseum Cottage was very convenient for my stay. I felt very safe and it was very quiet. The neighborhood also had plenty of dining options and a grocery store and bakery nearby.

We loved our stay at cottage. It is very close to all attraction that you can walk to. Only took a cab to vatican. There are plenty of restaurants and shops

This wonderful little cottage is tucked away off the busy street with 2 private city court yards. It has everything you could want or need. We walked everywhere, Colosseum, Forum, Circus Maximus, Trevi Fountain, Super Market, Resturants abound, neat little shops. Lorenzo was great. We will definately recommend this spot to family and friends, clean, comfortable, secure and great wi-fi to keep in touch with family. You won't be disappointed.
