About this house rental
The Beulah House: a lake Keowee waterfront escape. 20 minutes to downtown Clemson, SC. This home has everything you need for a lake escape year round. With big lake views, indoor fireplace, outdoor fire pit, hot tub, flat yard with a variety of yard games, and a dock with lake views and tons of water toys; you can’t go wrong with this lake house dream!
Lake temperature is swimmable from April until mid to late October but this home is great year round! Just minutes from Clemson University this home is the perfect place for those Fall football games, winter basketball games and spring baseball!
Boat rentals are available on the lake or bring your own. If you bring your own then you can launch it at the community boat launch one street over or at the South Cove County Park about ten minutes away. Boats can be tied up to the side of the dock as there are NO available boat slips on the dock. While guests will not have use of the owner’s boat or jet ski, there are plenty of local boat/ jet ski rental companies that will deliver to the dock for guest use.
Main floor includes one master suite with a king bed, living room, kitchen, laundry room, and the hall full bath that leads into the bunk room which has two sets of twin over full bunks. The main level also includes a covered porch as well as an uncovered porch with access to gas grill.
The lower level includes two separate king bedroom suites, an additional living room, kitchenette and wet bar, ping pong and shuffle board. The lower level also has a porch and access to the hot tub. The large, covered dock is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or an evening beverage! It’s also the ideal spot for fishing or to jump into the lake for a swim. Since the home is located on a quiet cove, there’s not much boat traffic, which maintains the serene character of the area.
Sit by the fire pit, play in the flat yard, enjoy kayaks or paddle boards! ***Golf cart rental is available upon request: for an additional cost and on property use (down to the dock) only ***

Helps monitor that no guests exceed the max occupancy. There are no audio or video recording devices on the interior of the property.

I will start with the good first. The house was great for our large families with 7 grand children being there with our 2 sons and wives and my wife and I. It fit perfect for what we needed. The house is really nice and we sat a lot on the outdoor porch looking down at the dock and water. The view is amazing and we enjoyed it so much. The kids totally enjoyed the kayaks and used them quite a bit.The kitchen has all the essentials needed to cook your meals without missing anything and we ate there most of the time. There is a gas grill there which we used quite a few times.The bedroom set up worked perfect for us and we all had our own space which was nice.Now to a few items that came up.My wife has a portable mobility scooter which we have taken on airlines and many times to Europe when we travel. It has a centrifugal clutch type of brake on it and the slope from the house down to the dock is REALLY steep and would not slow the scooter down at all and would not work. I talked to Paige and they have a golf cart on site which they wanted 600 for the week to use. We did agree after talking with her husband to 300 but I think it should have been included because the steepness is really bad even for regular people to walk down. Only other item to note maybe for the owners is to replace the cushions on the porch seating as they have a bunch of stains on them but the big problem is they are worn out and hardly any cushion left to sit on. We had a great time there.

This property is beautiful and in a convenient location within 20 minutes to several downtown areas and a marina. The house was very clean with comfortable beds and was well stocked. Check in was a breeze and the communication leading up to the rental was effortless. The lake cove was peaceful and very quiet. It was nice having the gas firepits available given SC was on a "burn ban", so we could not take advantage of the wood-burning firepit in the backyard but it was great that is available for renters. We weren't really familiar with how long it would take to heat the hot-tub, so we did not get to take full advantage. One thing for renters to note is the pictures don't fully provide perspective on how steep the walkway is to the dock. Unfortunately, my elderly parents could not maximize time on the dock over fear of falling and the difficulty climbing back up to the house. Availability to a rental cart (paid by renters) would be ideal.Absolutely beautiful property and we enjoyed every minute of it. I would certainly rent it again if the opportunity presents itself.
