About this house rental

House rules:
1. You must be 21 or older to book this home and all other guests must be 18 or older or accompanied by a parent or guardian.
2. Check-in is at 4 pm. Checkout is at 10 am. Guests who stay beyond their designated checkout time or delay our housekeeping staff are liable for any associated costs and expenses.
3. Guests are not allowed to make a reservation in their city of residence without express written consent. Please contact us if you are booking within your city.
4. Smoking, parties, and excessive noise are not allowed, including on balconies and in shared spaces. Smoking violations are subject to a $250 fine plus the cost to clean, deodorize, and repair damages.
5. Commercial photography/videography without written consent, Illegal activity, prostitution, and possession of firearms is strictly prohibited.
6. Overnight guests that exceed the number stated in the reservation are not allowed.
7. Pets are not allowed. Violation of our pet policy will result in a fine of $250. We encourage guests with service animals to contact us before their stay.
8. No third-party bookings. The person booking the unit must also be part of the group staying in the unit.
9. Screaming Reel Properties may use video surveillance in outside public areas for security purposes.
10. Guests take full responsibility for damages, injury, or loss that occur on the premises and its facilities. Guests must report any property damage to customer service. Unreported damages will be deducted from the security deposit.
11. Booking a reservation constitutes an agreement to comply with the House Rules. Guests who violate these rules are liable for any associated damages, fees, costs, or expenses.

The pool was clean (vacuum going when we got there and looked to have been on a timer to clean a few other times), there were typical hotel toiletries included which was nice, the towels were very thin, but glad to have had them (though personally, I brought my own). The host was easily reachable, though there was a hiccup where the cleaning staff let themselves into the home while 2 of us were there, which wasn’t cool, but the host seemed to have handled that. The chairs on the pool deck could definitely benefit from replacement, and we knew not to leave food out on the kitchen countertops as there were ants that’d spawn out of nowhere. Other than that, this ended up being a big hit with those in my family. To note, this home isn’t reallyyyyy handicap accessible, the main room in what looks to be the former-den served as the room we had my handicapped family in, we wheeled her from the driveway around back, and right into the house. From that bedroom, there were steps up to the main part of the home. Also to note, it was a bit weird that the property manager/ maintenance guy spends a great deal of his time sitting outside the home next door (guessing that is another one of their properties), and you’ll see him many times throughout the day on a golf cart. Kind of felt like big brother watching. Other than that, this property had good wifi, the AC was strong, the water pressure was great in the shower, and we feel an adequate amount of toilet paper was provided.
