About this house rental
Fresh and comfortable newer home in Town. Features quality appliances, amenities, central air, and heat. The “Spirit of '76” has a top location – steps from The Creeks where kayaking and bird-watching abound, minutes from Town restaurants and shops, and just a short drive/bike ride to airport and surfing beaches that have been voted best in the world.
First Floor:
Out front you have a well-manicured yard, 2 parking spots, and colorful window boxes adorned with seasonal color. As you enter the house you are treated to a friendly and inviting, open floor plan. On your right is a cozy, private, and bright sitting room with French doors. You move past this room into a large living room perfect for big gatherings where you can entertain and cook at the same time. A bar with wine cooler compliments the 7-person dining table and sideboard. Kitchen has an Italian Bertzionni 5-burner stove and oven, Sub-Zero refrigerator, Bosch dishwasher, cherry cabinets and white Italian marble counter tops. Laundry room with new washer and dryer is right off the kitchen.
Enjoy evenings out back on the mahogany deck with bench which features a teak dining table and 6 chairs plus a gas grill. Stone patio and garden are surrounded by privet and fence. The private outdoor shower offers the perfect finish to a beach day on ACK. Four bikes available to use at your own risk.
Second Floor:
Master bedroom with king bed, balcony, and large screen television. Master bath has hydrotherapy bath, custom-tiled separate shower with jets, double sinks, and custom cherry trim.
Three additional bedrooms: 1) queen bed with full bath; 2) two twin beds with a full bath (and tub); 3) single twin bed.
The entire house is comfortable, clean, updated and fresh!

Our family had the best experience in Nantucket. The home was so welcoming, it really set the tone for the trip. We enjoyed wonderful time through the island and were always excited to return to home which is so conducive to family or friends spending quality time together. We loved the home, so well-appointed with each room having such unique charm. We really enjoyed spending time on the patio, dining, playing games and enjoying the garden, perfect serenity. The property location was perfect, near town and within a short walk to the most lovely beach. Our host, Amy, was outstanding in every way, so accommodating and kind. She even reached out after our stay regarding a few items left at her home that ensured were shipped and returned to us. I can't speak more highly of the experience. We can't wait to return!
