About this house rental
Decompress in the tranquility of our garden with fragrant rosemary and Arizona blue cypress— cut bouquets and take home with you, During the monsoon season, the pool is 80 degrees. This summer is cooler than in the past years. Tuscan rosemary and cypress. You can easily hike straight into the Joshua Tree National Park, enjoy our three-chamber cave with firepit and picnic carpet, or explore the Valley of the Moon canyons for absolute privacy. Inside, a chef’s kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and a curated library provide luxury and inspiration. This summer is cooler than last.
The 36’ x 20’ saltwater pool is open year-round (best April–October). Evening spa and BBQ terraces overlook boulders and a Joshua tree, perfect for starlit dinners. Wildlife sightings include bighorn sheep, bobcats, and desert hawks. Hike straight into Joshua Tree National Park from our backyard.

What a magical experience to stay. Dale is an incredible host whose homestead reflects his artistry and creativity that we were honored to get to stay at, he genuinely wants his guests to have a great time. Come for the pool, stay for the warm atmosphere and the caves and multiple outdoor hang out spots (the hot tub under the stars was a major highlight). Could not recommend more and we will definitely be back next year for our annual visit.

Tucked among the boulders just outside of Joshua Tree National Park is this little slice of desert heaven. Float in the pool surrounded by boulders, star gaze from the elevated hot tub, take a short hike right from the property to the National Park boundary line, or simply relax and enjoy Dale's extensive book collection. Regardless of what you choose to do you will not be disappointed. Thank you for sharing your lovely desert retreat with us. We will be back.

This house was more than we could have hoped for. The pictures do not do it justice. Dale is an amazing host and we are grateful he is willing to share this property with others. We saw a kangroo rat, lizards, bats that would come in the evening to drink from the pool. A roadrunner in the front yard and jack rabbits. The rock climbing and the views were spectacular. We would climb the boulders to watch the sunset every evening, then finish out our night in the hot tub. We would eat dinner on the patios. Location was quiet and serene. The outside patios smelled so good he had many rosemary and lavender bushes throughout the proptery. I hope we can return one day. I would also recommend the coffee/cocktail bar down the road Mas o Menos.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa dei Fiori and would absolutely recommend it for a unique Joshua Tree experience. The owner was very communicative, friendly, and welcoming. They gave us an exceptionally thorough tour on arrival, walking us through every detail of the property, which made it easy to settle in and fully enjoy our stay.The home itself is full of character, with interesting art throughout that adds personality. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The pool was a major highlight—beautiful, refreshing, and perfectly set among the desert landscape. It was exactly what we were hoping for and a great place to relax and take in the surroundings.The outdoor space is incredible, with rocks, caves to explore, and plenty of room to walk. We saw quail, lizards, kangaroo rats, and even a roadrunner (we were told the owner sometimes has treats for it, which was a fun touch).We brought our dogs and the property worked well for them, though there isn’t a fenced area for off-leash running. That said, we enjoyed walking them around the grounds.Overall, a peaceful, memorable stay with a great host—we would definitely come back.
