Sandy Shoes is beautifully constructed waterfront home located on the north side of Russell’s Island. Situated off of the main road and right on the water, it’s vibrant colors will surely catch your eye. Sandy Shoes is equipped with everything you will need in your vacation rental, but questions are always acceptable. The Sand Bar is one of the locals favorite restaurants and is only half a mile from Sandy Shoes. The house comes with kayaks and paddle boards so you can Kayak to nearby beaches or sit out on the deck, while having a cocktail, or sitting on the lounges by the water reading a great book. So if it’s relaxing at the beach or going on one of the best boat charters, TyMan Charters, then Sandy Shoes is the perfect place for you. Sandy Shoes was perfect for my husband and I. We loved the view from the patio and the beach area. The host answered all our questions and took care of our golf cart rental. She was professional, polite, and prompt.The house is perfect for couples or a family of four. It was very clean and neat. You will need water shoes as the entry into the sea is rocky, but that can clearly be seen in the photos which were very accurate. That is easily solved. I ordered a pair on Amazon for 7.Did not snorkel but it looked to be a nice spot for that and we saw several sea turtles swim by. We love Spanish Wells and will return.

This was our third year staying here. We love Christy and her husband. They live on the island so if anything comes up they're right there. I love the spot because you see more marine life vs the beach. Water shoes is a must. But if you want beach just hop on the golf cart, go down the road. You can see it from the house. Beautiful house. I don't think we ever turned the TV on cause your outside the whole time. But Christy is fabulous. Schedules the taxi ferry and golf cart. Cause thats all you need is a golf cart to get around. Very safe island! We're just trying to get to where we can come twice a year. Lol!

Our family has had the best time here! The perfect location, and amazingly spacious house for our family. The hosts were so accommodating and made us feel at home. We can’t wait to come back!
