About this house rental
Located on the white sandy beach of Tar Bay and situated on four lots with over 300ft of beachfront, Ba Roos is the perfect beach rental and is one of Exuma's most sought after beachfront properties.
The main house offers three king suites and a custom bunk room that sleeps four. Each of the four suites is fitted with pillow top beds and luxurious linens for a dreamy sleep.
Ba Roos offers a well appointed and open floor plan for easy entertaining. The fully stocked kitchen can accommodate a night of gourmet cooking or just a morning cup of coffee. Step outside and you'll be greeted by a vanishing edge pool overlooking the ocean and an outdoor lounge and grill for "island style" dinning.
Ba Roos is protected from the road by natural island foliage and a rock cliff driveway. The natural incline drive and placement of the house provides guests with the perfect amount of privacy from the road and distant neighbors.
Enjoy your own private bar and relax on your own private beach away from strolling beach goers. Boozy Roos is steps away from the main house. Along with the addition of Boozy Roos our guests and relax on the oceanside patio or take a stroll on two miles of secluded beach occupied by Tar Bay homeowners.

Ba Roos exceeded every expectation we had. Esther was a great host. The house was very clean and the beauty of the surroundings was unimaginable. We will definitely be returning.

This is our favorite place to stay on the island. Eighth visit to Exuma; second to Ba Roos and it does not disappoint. We'll be back again soon!

Starting with a positive- Tar Bay is beautiful.
Now, for the facts:
This was our 3rd trip to Exuma. We love it.
The property itself is nice. Not the best place we've stayed, nor the worst place we've stayed.
Upon arrival and meeting with the property manager we all felt as though she was giving rules to a bunch of spring breakers, which we are not. 2 of us nearly 60 yrs. old and 2 nearly 80 yrs. old.
There was a issue with the grill and we were told upon arrival that one would arrive in a couple of days. A couple of days went to 6 when one arrived and we left on day 7. Having a working grill is imperative for a beach vacation. The grill on hand was on it's last leg and took 30 minutes to cook a thin chicken breast. So, it was basically worthless. Many texts from the property were responded to promptly but with excuses.
Ideally, a back up on hand for every amenity would have been available. Especially a crucial one such as a grill. Not everything can be prepared using a kitchen range. We spent hundreds of dollars for beautiful meats from Prime Island only to be frustrated every evening on how we were going to prepare them. The kitchen had a few skillets that were long past their prime also. The grill ordeal in and of itself made our vacation stressful. This was my in-laws last vacation anywhere due to their age and we wanted it to be a nice as possible. The owner did have someone drop off supper on our last evening.
Ending with a positive-Tar Bay is beautiful.
