Giglio House is an exclusive apartment for rent in Campo Santa Maria del Giglio, 5 min walk from San Marco square, Venice Italy. The apartment is located in between the Accademia Bridge and the famous Fenice Theater and is facing opposite to the world-renowned Gritti Place Hotel. The apartment comprises the whole third floor of an authentic historical Palazzo, overlooking the magnificent church of S. Maria del Giglio. It is bright and spacious, with high ceilings and large three-mullioned windows offering a stunning view of Campo Santa Maria Del Giglio, its homonymous church and the Venetian rooftops.
From its bedrooms, there is a side view of the Grand Canal.
The Giglio waterbus stop on the Grand Canal is only 50 meters away.
The Giglio House apartment is perfect for anyone seeking the highest level of comfort, style, and convenience. The apartment has recently been refurbished to the highest standard. It is laid out over more than 130 square meters and comprises a large central living room, two large double bedrooms, a third twin bedroom, two bathrooms with Italian Marmo and large showers, a functional dining area, and separate furnished kitchen. The recent renovation project aimed to preserve the original structure and features: of particular importance are the Seminato Veneziano flooring and the "tri-cellular" partition of the space typical of the historical Venetian houses. The comfort is enhanced by air-conditioning in every room, brand new appliances, Wi-Fi internet connection, and satellite TV.
There is a bright, spacious and airy sitting room with comfortable sofas by the large three-mullioned windows, where the privileged guests of this home can relax reading a good book or sipping a cup of coffee admiring the panoramic views.
Two of the three bedrooms have king size beds, the third one has two single beds, sleeping a total of 6 guests.

Great location but pretty basic. Could use some furnishing/artwork to make it feel a little more homey. Be ready for some stairs!

This is a fantastic location for visiting Venice. It is just a few steps from a vaparetto and Alilaguna stop and a 5 minute walk to St. Mark's. The property is as old as you would expect in Venice but it is very roomy and comfortable. The overall condition is good but the floors could have benefited from a more thorough cleaning.The host was great to work with over Whatsapp.

This is a well located, clean apartment with wonderful large windows. The beds are comfortable enough, and most things work fine. It suited our group of five: two couples plus a single adult.However:- communication with the hosts wasn't great (Carlo is the name that automatically appears on the VRBO messaging, but Grecia and Enrico are the contacts apparently). I had questions in the run up to the rental that went unanswered until I phoned VRBO and they chased- the apartment lacks some items that would have been helpful, e.g. bread knife and sharp knives generally- the kettle tripped the fuses every time we tried to use it. We informed Grecia but were told it was because the kettle was wet. It wasn't. So we boiled water in pans instead- the shower head in the shared bathroom dribbled (we managed with the handheld but I'm noting here for the hosts to fix)- info provided before arrival was mainly fine, but a key thing we needed was luggage storage and the hosts recommend taking your bags to the rail station (a 30min journey). Actually the Tabac in Piazza Santa Maria del Giglio offered luggage storage for E5 per bag and it's 90 seconds from the front door.Overall, it's a practical and relatively good value place to stay in terms of location, but it doesn't feel like a place that's cared about by its management team, and there's no feeling of a personal service. With some tweaks and better, friendlier communication it could have been five stars.
