Green Shutters was the perfect place to stay in Hope Town. The full kitchen, cozy front porch, and convenient location right in town made it ieasy to relax and enjoy walking ot the local shops and restaruants. With quick access to the beach and everything we needed nearby, it was a fantastic stay and would definately return.

We had a wonderful stay at Green Shutters. The cottage has all the charm you hope for in the Bahamas—comfortable, welcoming, and perfectly suited for a relaxing island getaway. It was clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed during our stay. The location made it easy to enjoy Hope Town, whether we were walking around the settlement, heading to our boat rental, or just relaxing and soaking in the island atmosphere on the porch.Green Shutters felt like a true home away from home. We especially appreciated the peaceful setting just across from the beach and the character of the house. It was the kind of place that made it easy to slow down and enjoy everything Hope Town has to offer. We would happily stay there again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable place to stay.

Absolutely love the house and the location. Conveniently located steps from the best beach on the island and a short stroll to docks, restaurants and shops. Another bonus is you are close to Vernon’s for homemade pies and bread. Walk to Captain Jack’s for dinner or hop on the complimentary ferry over to the Hope Town Inn and Marina for the bar, restaurant and pool, It’s so easy.The house had plenty of space for us to spread out for our family and friends that we had with us for the week. The golf cart parking lot is nearby as well so not having the cart in town was not a problem at all. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces and listening to the waves at night. The top of the dune right in front of the house has a great bench to sit on and watch the sunrise over the ocean and in the other direction the sunsets over the lighthouse with picturesque views of the quaint town. The snorkeling on the reef from the beach in front of the house was really nice. Can’t wait to get back!!!
