Good space for couples, families and large groups.
Very bright and spacious house with 5 bedrooms:
- on the first floor, 2 bedrooms, living room, bathroom, utility room, kitchen and porch,
- in the attic, 3 bedrooms, living room and bathroom.
House furnished and very well equipped.
It has a cot. Situated next to a restaurant and within easy reach of the historic center of Angra in less than 5 minutes by car.
Regular buses stop outside the house.
Affordable taxi to city center
Easy car hire by contacting the hostess.
It has about 150 7-day recording TV channels, radio and free wifi.

Sandra is a charming person who shows genuine concern for her guests. Home had everything+ you could possibly need for stay, was very clean and organized. Location was perfect for us as it was 5 min to city by car close to a major store. There was also a bus stop a few feet away if you had no car. Hoping to visit next year and planning to stay here again, if available

The house of Sandra is located in Sao Bento, a town on the northern side of Angra do Heroismo in Terceira, Azores.
Downtown Angra is 5 mins by car, the airport is about 15 mins. You will need a car to get around the island, Sandra offered her help to hire one. Taxi from the airport is 15 Euro, which allowed us to cut car hire by 1 day.
The house is spacious, clean, fully furbished, has 5 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It can sleep far more than our party of 6 (3 adults and 3 grownup boys). It seemed to be a house that is normally inhabited by long-term tenants, it did not have the "occasionally-visited-vacation-home" feel to it.
The main supermarket of the island is 2 mins by car, a large France/US style supermarket with lots of local fresh food, in case you want to cook for yourself - we did.
We were warmly welcomed by Sandra and her husband on arrival, they were readily available when needed and helped us with finding restaurants, activities, walks, etc. on the island.
As we wanted (and did) explore the entire island, the location on the outskirts of Angra was ideal for our type of travel group, and if returning to Terceira as a 2 family travel group we would probably come back here.

The home was as described in listing. More than enough space for my family. Home was clean, well stocked with needed items in kitchen, bath, etc. Clothes washer and dryer a plus. Sandra, the host, was easy to deal with and attentive to requests in a timely manner. Home is located on a busy street next to a deli/shop, so expect some foot/vehicle traffic in area. Also very close to Continente market, which my wife compared to a Target back in the US... very useful with everything you need. Overall a great stay, and would recommend Sandra’s home to anyone visiting Terceira/Angra area.
