This was our 2nd stay at Alto. We absolutely adore this charming abode. It has every amenity, plus an outstanding ocean view from the deck and bedroom. It's impeccably tidy. The kitchen is fantastic and well equipped with anything that one may need, right down to random utensils. The beach is literally right across the street, and the neighborhood is quiet and respectful. There's very little street light/light pollution, and it's nice to be able to sit out on the deck at night to enjoy the stars at night while smelling the fresh briny air and listening to the surf. It's within walking distance of the town center, and there are quite a few good dining establishments within a short walk of the house. We travel with our pet rabbit, and he's always relaxed and at peace there. There's an abundance of classic literature paperback books if one wishes to dive into some old memories. It's thoughtfully equipped with beach chairs, a beach tent and a plentiful supply of beach towels. All in all, it's fantastic without being pretentious, we feel at home here. As I child, I used to spend summers in Rehoboth Beach, and I've missed it ever since. However, I've found my new beach retreat, and it harkens me back to better days whenever I'm here.
