**Just renovated** Some black-out dates may be available. Message us your dates to inquire. Escape to our beautiful 4-bedroom farmhouse/chateau. This retreat is a perfect haven for families or groups, comfortably accommodating up to 11 guests. Combined with rustic charm, this spacious lodge sits among a working cattle ranch. This property boasts 4 bedrooms, including a king bed, bunk bed, and 3 queen beds. With 2 bathrooms equipped with showers and hair dryers, guests will feel right at home. Starter kit of essentials like pre-filled coffee filters, paper goods, trash bags, laundry pods, and dish detergent supplies to start off your stay. For stays longer than 2 days & larger groups, you may want to bring additional supplies.
Enjoy the serene surroundings and take advantage of the additional game room space equipped with a daybed. Step inside to discover an inviting open concept living room, large dining and fully equipped kitchen. Outside delight in your private oasis. Enjoy the seasonal pool (Memorial Day through Labor Day), relax on the porch and grill a meal to create memories together. Lake access (reserved for fishing only- catch & release) is about 400 feet away. Experience the perfect blend of adventure and tranquility among this working cattle farm. Not available to rent for large gatherings such as reunions or weddings as maximum capacity on premises at all times is 11. Nearby attractions include the World Shooting and Recreational Complex just 20 miles away. St. Louis offers many family friendly activities and attractions with a 45 minute drive. Many local eats and treats include restaurants, bar & grill and fine dining experiences within 10 minutes of the property. Description and photos are all accurate. Easy checkin and checkout. We brought our grown children with spouses and the grandkids for a wedding. We had 11 at the house. It was great for family time. Swimming pool was the highlight for grandkids while picnicking on the huge wrap-around porch and game playing around the raised dining room table was adult favorite. Appliances are all very new, AC worked fine. Plenty of space for socializing. Very private, can’t see or hear any roads as very long driveway. You do have the occasional tractor or farm worker passing through collecting eggs or feeding the cattle, but they just do their job and move on. Lots of bird sounds, including chickens and the occasional cow moo. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms are very nice. Plenty of closets and dresser space for clothes. Keep in mind only 2 baths so for 11 people we needed to schedule a bit, but we never ran out of hot water so it worked out. Kitchen looks freshly remodeled with all the basic cooking accessories present but if you are planning big meals you better check on specifics with host to make sure you will have everything you need. We really enjoyed the house and would return without hesitation.

This house accommodated our larger group. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The kids enjoyed the pool. If ever in the area again, will definitely be staying here.
